3DO Interactive Multiplayer

La 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, presenta el mismo ideal que los MSX: muchos fabricantes para un solo estándar. Y curiosamente, la mayoría de fabricantes de 3DO lo fueron de MSX. El empaquetado es variado. En España usa caja de cartón alargada enorme al estilo de la Philips CDI, con el juego dentro de una Jewel Case.

Estas páginas surgieron como un homenaje a los caídos en la evolución de las videoconsolas, recopilado primero un listado de todos sus juegos con coverscan para facilitar al usuario el poder reponer elementos deteriorados. Con posterioridad se han ido añadiendo enlaces a los manuales (unos currados por los usuarios, otros puestos por las empresas, pero ambos compartiendo la volatilidad de la red) y aprovechando mi difunta tienda online, las descripciones en varios idiomas y capturas de pantallas del juego. Ante el auge de fichas de videojuegos en Wikipedia, estoy comenzando a incorporar enlaces a medios especializados. Además me sirve de lista de mi colección. En estos momentos tengo :

A diferencia de otros listados en este no hay ningún escaneo mío ni se admiten colaboraciones al respecto. Esto es debido al descubrimiento de The Cover Project una inicativa comunitaria pare crear a partir de escaneos de las cajas de cartón cover fieles al original pero que se puedan usar con una caja DS o una caja Universal Game Case, que puede albergar desde una tarjeta de TurboGrafx a un cartucho de NES o N64. Os recomiendo encarecidamente que aportéis vuestros escaneos a esa iniciativa. Por ello todas las portadas que se enlazan son una réplica de las creadas en The Cover Project, y es a sus miebros quienes debéis dar el crédito por el trabajo realizado.
