¡Se han llevado el dinero del banco después de haber propinado una "ligera" paliza al director! ¡No hay tiempo que perder! Lucky Luke debe intentar devolver a estos malhechores a la cárcel a toda costa antes de que siembren el pánico a lo largo y ancho del Lejano Oeste.

French comic hero Lucky Luke has always had a strong following on the Continent and Infogrames has had enough confidence in the laid-back cowboy's appeal in the UK that it's previously developed four different games for around ten platforms based on his antics.

The latest, which is the first on the Game Boy Advance, sees Our Hero once more buckling on his gun-belt to take on the infamous Dalton Brothers. They've been let out of jail following a general amnesty for felons ordered by the new President of the US and the first thing they do, naturally, is rob the nearest bank.

It's a side-scrolling action-adventure from then on, shooting at the bad guys, collecting extra lives, ammunition and dynamite and collecting four aces that will give you access to a bonus level. As you progress, if you happen to come across the faithful dog Rintincan, a check point is established that prevents you having to restart from the beginning of the level.

Pointers are given along the way either from full-frame stills with explanatory text or from text balloons that appear over characters' heads that tell you where to go next. Although the run-jump-shoot model is standard platform fare, quirky twists are added in keeping with the general humourous tone. For instance, if you need to gain extra height to jump over a wagon, you first have to shoot a bale of hay that falls on to a plank that catapults you over the top.

There are nine game levels in all with four bonus levels to be uncovered and the puzzle element has been worked into the shooting action to not make it too easy (there are two difficulty settings as well)

Pour célébrer son arrivée sur Game Boy Advance, Lucky Luke, le célèbre cow-boy qui tire plus vite que son ombre, va devoir une fois de plus mettre la main sur les frères Dalton. En effet, ces derniers ayant bénéficié de l'amnistie générale décidée par le nouveau président des États-Unis, ils ont pratiquement instantanément repris leurs activités de malfaiteus en dévalisant une banque. Il faut absolument les arrêter avant qu'ils sèment la panique. Lucky Luke : Wanted mélange l'action et l'aventure et vous découvrirez, tout au long des treize niveaux qui composent le jeu, que non content de se servir de ses colts, le héros du Far West aura également besoin de se servir de ses méninges... L'humour et la non-violence sont également au rendez-vous avec de nombreuses animations très variées et sans une goutte de sang versé, la précision légendaire de Lucky Luke lui permettant de simplement blesser ses adversaires. À propos d'adversaires, le jeu inclut différents mini-jeux dans lesquels deux joueurs humains pourront s'affronter via le câble link de la GBA. Duel au pistolet, tir au canon ou bien encore bras de fer, autant d'épreuves qui ajouteront à la durée de vie déjà exceptionnelle du jeu. Un dernier mot pour insister sur la qualité de la réalisation, tant graphique, avec un extrême souci du détail, que sonore avec une bande musicale riche et des effets sonores très convaincants. Une splendide adaptation qui saura retenir l'attention et l'intérêt des petits et des plus grands.
