Star Wars: Episode I: Racer is an exciting racing game based on the pivotal Podracing sequence in Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Players can re-create the excitement of George Lucas's hit movie by piloting 23 different Podracers through 25 of the toughest tracks in the galaxy.

Brought to life by authentic voice samples and the imaginative characters from Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode I: Racer appeals to game fans of all ages and skill levels.

You can can upgrade your Podracer by doing well in the game's deep Tournament Mode. The irascible Watto drives a hard bargain at his shop and junkyard, but you'll have to deal with him if you want to build the ultimate Podracer. Two friends can race head-to-head.

Star Wars: Episode I: Racer has earned an "E" (everyone) rating by the independent Entertainment Software Rating Board. Games rated "E" are suitable for persons age six or older.

Players save data directly to the Game Pak and, if they choose, feel the strength of the Force through the Nintendo 64 Rumble Pak. Star Wars: Episode I: Racer can be played in hi-res mode with the use of the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, but the game can also enjoyed without the Expansion Pak.
