Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns es un juego de estrategia en tiempo real ambientado en un mundo de fantasía. Eres Kohan y en tiempos no muy lejanos tu raza gobernó en el mundo. Pero sucedió antes de que se produjeran los cataclismos. En este momento tienes que resolver el misterio de la destrucción de tu raza y tratar de restablecer la gloria de antaño.
En Kohan tendrás que utilizar una combinación de estrategia, táctica, y gestión de recursos para crear el reino victorioso. El juego está basado en la gestión de tu ejército con el que alcanzarás la victoria si lo formas y organizas con acierto. Pero igualmente tendrás que explorar el mundo del juego y la historia de los Kohan.
Podrás utilizar Héroes Kohan para encontrar vestigios de su antigua decadencia y aprender del pasado para preparar tu futuro.
Te sumergirás en la historia de los Kohan en el modo campaña del juego. Podrás acceder a un tutorial básico, un tutorial avanzado, una auténtica campaña y jugar con otros 7 jugadores a través de Internet o una red (LAN).
Kohan incluye un Editor de Mapas con generador aleatorio para que el jugador pueda crear y personalizar sus propios escenarios, ampliando las posibilidades del juego.

Your life up until now has been nothing but a flickering shadow, a fleeting memory of a life long past. While searching for answers to your heritage, you stumble across a hidden family heirloom - a marvelous, golden disk embedded with gems. The amulet is attached to a chain that is obviously meant to be worn around your neck. As you slip it over your head, there is a sudden brilliant flash of light.
Flooded with an overwhelming sense of peace, you are transported back in time to the mystical world of Khaldun. You are not the man you once were. Awakened with memories of eons past and a newfound destiny to fulfill, you realize who you have become - you are the immortal Kohan.
Once the ruling power of the world, the Kohan is a lost civilization destroyed by massive cataclysms. Their immortal nature prevents them from an eternal death, allowing them to resurface.
Reborn and reawakened in a strange new world, you must now come to terms with your current destiny as you search for clues to solve the riddle to your race's destruction and return the Kohan to its rightful glory
