Echelon

Cyberball

Cyberball es un juego de pinball donde hay cuatro tableros disponibles: Dooke, inspirado en los demonios del inframundo, Enlightment, con un tema de viajes espaciales, Air Crash, sobre el combate aéreo moderno y Shark Attack, donde se esconde un tesoro en el fondo del mar, custodiado por los tiburones. Echelon

You are introduced to the three remaining species of the Ring World. You choose which one you want to lead, through 5 missions, to victory. The missions will fit the culture, weaponry and goals of the species.

Three warring factions divided over their quest to take over the world and destroy each other...can you already guess what type of game this is? That's right folks step on up for another dose of real time strategy gaming, courtesy of us friendly folk at Hotgames.com...so what's different about Echelon? On the surface not much - the same 2D viewpoint, the same basic control interface, the same basic objectives...now usually this is the point in the review where we say "however, dig a little deeper and you'll find something completely new", but we won't. That would be lying, and Santa Claus doesn't like liars.

To be fair, the graphics are well realised and serve their purpose well, and the enemy AI shown off to show off a bit of brain power inside their pre-rendered skulls. Each different race in the game has a unique style, but this is something we've already seen in games such as Starcraft and Krush, Kill 'N' Destroy 2. If you have either of these, there's going to be little to persuade you to switch allegiances, although those who have yet to join their ranks might want to get on this bandwagon first.

Cyberball

Cyberball is a pinball game where four tables are available: Dooke, inspired by underworld devils, Enlightment, with a space travel theme, Air Crash, about modern air combat and Shark Attack, where a treasure is hidden in the bottom of the sea, and guarded by sharks. Unlike other games, where tables follow a common rectangular playfield, in Cyberball they are square with two or more areas. The screen resolution selected affects scrolling: in the lowest "cyberview" mode (320x240), the playfield scrolls up and down, and using the "full view" (1024x768), everything is visible. Other options range from the number of players to tamper with game physics.
